Couldn't find any more births under the names of Fisk - Parker but did find this one with a phonetic search:-
Births Mar 1920 (>99%) Fish Alice M (Parker) B.Stortford 3a 1815
and one under Fisk - Barker:-
Name: Cyril D W Fisk Mother's Maiden Surname: Barker Date of Registration: Oct Nov Dec 1917 Registration district: Bosmere Registration county: Essex, Suffolk Volume Number: 4a Page Number: 1298
but you would have to buy the certs. to see if the parents match. (Lot of expense)?

Hello Ruth,
If you google - (pubs in colchester) - or - (little crown pub, colchester) - it will show you a site where you can see a photo of the pub. It also gives you contact details for the pub, if you give them a ring the owners may know the history of the pub or be able to put you in touch with someone who does.

Ruth, I do think that all the names do correspond to the same person but there have just been mistakes made by the person doing the transcript. If you check the census records all the other names fit. If you look at the 1911 census, son Leonard is noted as Lensard and Pansey (in 1901) is now Pansy. The transcripters often made spelling mistakes so you must have an open mind when researching. Hope it all helps anyway. Catherine
