hi my name is georgina (pitt)beardwell .my father was joseph henrry pitt born in london on 19 of march 1926.he was the youngest of 4.nanny pitt was born on the 8/8/1889 not 1900. my dad died in jan 1984 .i now nanny pitts dad was a carman so was his dad and grandad hope this helps |

not sure about the birth on Joseph, apparently my nan ( Minnie was in the middle of either Joseph or Alfred, so i`m guessing he was the oldest, but not 100%, and i can see where you are coming from Rose |
