If he joined in 1886 & married in 1895, does it have his parents as next of kin on his military records?

hi ozbird
sorry i've taken so long in replying to you have been busy not been on computer for a few days. In answer to your question yes i have my grandfathers marraige certificate his fathers name was albert schacht also but it dosen't give my great grandmothers name which i was hoping for in scotland where i live on the marraige certificate it gives both parents names and m.s name of the mothers of the bride and groom in answer to your other question on my granddad's army records my uncle was henry authur bertie but we knew him as bert it's all very confusing and he dosen't list anyone as next of kin that i can see. I don't think i can get any further with this.
thanks for your help if you can think of anywhere else i can look i would be grateful.

Thanks for getting back Anne. Certainly Albert's birth remains a mystery. No sign of him anywhere.

It means nudge to take it to the top of the board. This is one of several threads on the same family so it means that people are duplicating their efforts to help you and are missing information found earlier.

I think I would copy and paste any useful material onto this thread and write a note on the bottom of the others continued on

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.asp?wci=thread&tk=1133504&px=2

then close the other threads.
