My mother always insisted that her name was spelt MACLEOD, she said her father Robert was a Major in the Seaforth Highlanders, I dont even know if Diane had any siblings only know of cousins Donald and Ishbel. |

Sometime ago Vivienne found a child Macleod entering the country(London) from Bombay in 1919 aboard the ship Ormonde, I have been viewing this site and note there is a Mrs J Macleod and 4 Macleod children,I wonder if clever Vivienne is on the right track and how can we follow this up? |

As he was a Major the Regimental museum might have some information on him. Otherwise, his officers records may be available at the National Archives -not online though - you'd have to go there or get someone to go for you. |

I dont know if Diane had siblings but it is quite possible, I cant think of a way of getting christian names for these Macleod children,Oh Vivienne I do believe in the gooseberry bush |
