Try googling just the surname and the area. But the local Family History society should be able to help. |

Theres this one in 1851 born Cleator - if not your bloke, good chance related - he is a jouneyman blacksmith - says married but no sign of wife so he appears to be working away from his normal home (as journey men often did) but you have probably seen him already. Keep him handy though. |

I have seen them before and disregarded them because of Johns birth year, but like you say about the baptism date, it could be them, they tie in because they had a daughter, Martha, born around 1849, but they also had a son William, born in 1848, who lived until 1910 |
