Well, I wouldn't put a ref check for the name Florence Mills just in case it has been written on the cert as Miller (or it might look like Miller in that old handwriting). |

Sharon, just a guess I'm afraid. I too like Julia have been wondering if Florence could have been married before or even married at all. As I can't find a marriage for them in those names. |

There are tons of male births with surname White born in Edmonton in those few years prior to 1910 - could be any one of them really as Nobby was just a nickname not based on any particular forename. |

I have just 'googled' for Nobby and unfortunately it was a nickname for lots of different first names but one thing in common they all nearly have the same surname of Clarke. It wa particularly commonly used in the army, as anyone with a surname White was called ' Chalky' so anyone called Clarke was nicknamed Nobby |
