Your tree, I hae to say, is one of the most complicated I have come across - there are several names - i.e. Stott, Lord, Holt, Healy, + others, which seem to intermingle over time.

I have to say that you WILL ned to buy some certs to sort this out.

Ethel and I have been out most of the day restocking the larder.We visited a couple of friends on the way home and just finished our evening meal so have just read the results of your labours.
There was a lot to take in and I had to go through it a couple of times and now tend to agree with you that I have the wrong Louisa and her mother would be Avis and no Maria as I thought. I will not make the amendment to the tree until you tell me its OK to do so.

I will try to post the information I promised.

I have to say though Pete that I have tried to work your line back from Ethel with the details you gave me and have not made a connection to either of the Louisa's yet!!

What I suggest is that I give you the details as to why the Louisa is not the correct one.

If that is all acceptable, we can put it aside for now and work backwards from the beginning from your Ethel born 1934?

We can then make sure that we have the correct people and build it up from there.

I will need to add this in several posts as it is too big for one message - please bear with me while I add it all.

'Your Louise' - there are 2 of them: - both have a father called William and both William's are in and out of the same profession !

(I actually think they will turn out to be related - probably cousins? but we will ignore that for now!
