Hi, This is a long shot but worth a try, I have found the marriage I think is of my gggreat grandfather Samuel Siviter to Lucy Aston. Can anyone take a look and see if they are alive in 1941 census please. I have found 2 deaths for a Samuel Siveter, one in 1838 and 1 in 1853. Also 1 death for Lucy in 1853. So if it’s the later death they would be on the 1841 census. The area would be Stafford, they married in Rowley Regis and their children were also born there. William 1805, I have him married in 1841 onwards. Samuel 1807, no sign. John 1803 no sign. Sarah 1799, no sign. Thomas 1797, no sign.
Any help with this would be A GREAT HELP

Hi, can anyone find the marriage of William, I have him in 1841 but he is living with Mary Hodgetts, although they say they are married they were not, as in later census she is listed with him but in the name of Hodgetts. Because Ihe was married before and had children to her first marriage. I cant find a marriage for her or her birth and I dont know how I will ever find out. So I am working on the siviter line.

Here they are in 1841. Please note that his year of birth changes on every census, so take it 5 year either way please. Mary Siviter 1806 is in fact Mary Hodgetts. The Mary Hodgetts b1840 is in fact his only child to Mary Hodgetts. The other children are from former marriages.

Halesowen is about 3 miles from Rowley Regis (good old AutoRoute!)

The birth I found is the only one I can find for any of the children!
