I'm not getting very far with this, so any help would be appreciated. My husbands grandfather was John Stanley Scott b 1914, in a shanty town in Canada, along with siblings, Ethel, Isabella, James, Thomas, William, the shanty town is unheard of, they moved back to Liverpool around 1920 which is where their father Thomas came from. If anyone can relate to this, please let me know. |

Susan - thanks so much for your help - your info looks promising - I have to pick my children up in half hour, so will study it in more depth when I'm back at about 3.30pm. |

I'm confused now - why was 1905 too late for the marriage? |

if you now look at each piece of info Susan and I have given you and record the info bit by bit in a tree it should begin to make sense and things will seem clearer. |
