LFW. Debbie is very lucky having all this work done for her. I noticed she was asking for census images on the success board. You have offered to send them for her. I remember sending images to others who didnt receive them. I was told they have to be online at the same time because the images time out. Thought you should know this so you can arrange for Debbie to be there.
I couldnt find William Makepeace in 1861 either.

Hi Margaret
The success board was an oops! I clicked as I saw it and couldn't find how to delete it - there just didn't seem to be a delete option there - grr.
I dont think it matters if a person is online or not if information is sent via GR , I have always recieved mine , I imagine its very much the same as any other email , it just stays in your inbox untill you log in & open it up , tho I understand what you say ;-))
Oh I just thought I know wht you mean Margaret , if you send them with the direct link thru Ancestry then yes they do time out but if the image is actually downloaded and attached to the email it stays there untill the recipient opens it up x

Hi Margaret
I've sent images before and always download and email rather than attach the URL link. In general I find it easier for the recipient to handle as not everyone is up on IT.
Regards LfW
Hi Deb
You're very welcome, thanks for the PM and for keeping me sane tonight, I really did need something to keep me busy so took it on myself to see who else I could find. I was hoping that William would turn up mistranscribed with one of his siblings but no such luck :-)
FiL is out of theatre and (everything crossed) on the mend, deep sigh of relief :-)
Kind regards LfW

Hi Deb
Found John and added him to his list but it's over the 5000 letters so has pushed the death off the end

Thanks LFW I will remember in future about the images. Yes I did send via Ancestry. Debbie Hope you didnt think I was being critical about your posting on success. I only noticed it and it reminded me about the images.

LFW. Sorry to hear about your f in l. I know how stressful it can be. Sounds like hes on the mend which will be a relief for you. I found being busy doing family research a welcome relief last year when my husband was ill. Sorry to say he was terminal so no recovery but the distraction helped me during the time and after
