Hi Margaret
Could you do a search for me, i am looking for the marrigde and baptism of Mary Kimble to try and find her parents. Mary was born c1648 in either Claydon or Cropredy.I have her married to Samuel Hartwell in Cropredy in 1668 Any help would be very much appreciated.

Perhaps I did not make my previous posting about Mary Ann Maynard clear enough,
On the 1871 census Mary Lunnon says she was born in Swyncombe, and the relevant baptism for that is
27/8/1848 daughter of John and Martha Maynard in Swyncombe
this age tallies with many of the varying ages she gives during her life.

I have looked at the Thame disc, but sorry no Mary Ann Maynard there.

There is only one baptism for a Mary Kimble or similar surname in Cropredy 11/9/1636 daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth.

as you can see from this there is no baptism for a Thomas Hartwell 5/5/1679 in Claydon, nor is there one in Cropredy.
The widow Hartwell buried in 1716 her affadavit was signed by Eliz: Harris, perhaps the daughter Elizabeth baptised 7/7/1671. If so this would give you the burial of Mary nee Kimble 6/4/1716.

No baptism for Jonathan Toler or similar in Bicester. Cannot find a marriage either in Bicester.

There is no baptism for Mary Smith In broadwell, and the nearest in age child to her has parents John and Dorothy, but they did not marry in Oxfordshire.Sorry not much help.
