Thank you LFW, hhmm I can see what you mean from a business clerk to a bricklayers labourer is a bit of a puzzle. LOL why couldn't he follow in his fathers footsteps of being a painter/decorator like the other son did, that's what helped me to trace him!
Thanks Gary

Thanks so much for your help LFW, have to go now but will have another look later on for more information, but I am at lot further now then I was before. The first wife Jane died in 1858 in Marylebone, so the usual story he moved another woman in quite quickly afterwards.
Regards Gary

I have ordered the second marriage cert for William Henry senior so if the father ties in that should hopefully confirm that baptism record.

Yes this was why I struggled finding them before, except for your great sleuthing!!
This is possible Harriett marriage and have traced census in 1871 of Harriett Currie born Marylebone with husband.
Marriages Dec 1867 Currie Walter Kensington EDGERTON George Kensington HODGE Harriet Kensington SUTTON Agnes Eleanor Kensington
Tried all the ones married in Marylebone in 1868 which had very unusual names, but struggled to find any of them.

This one doesn't prove anything as both spouses were Janes.

Thank you lost for words.
Think Eliza died in 1873, death registered in Kensington (covers Hammersmith), although birth year has been put as 1812.
