John Purvis, born about 1819 in Northumberland.
Wife Margaret of similar age.
Two daughters; Jane born about 1849 and Elizabeth Anne born 1855; both children born in Warkworth, Willington, Northumberland.
Baptismal record for Elizabeth states that her father was a farmer and gives a location 'Coldrife'.
I think, Elizabeth went on to marry a Scotsman and I have records of an Elizabeth Purvis of Willington in the 1881 and 1891 Scottish Census records.
So far, Margaret and John Purvis seem the most likely fit.
I would be most grateful if someone could check the earlier English census records for Elizabeth Purvis: then also, her father John Purvis?
If they are available I would like 1841. 1851, 1861 and 1871???
