No sign of Elvin on the 1861 do you know parents names, perhaps it was a pet/nick name? |

I'm still trying things. I have a family of Parkins on the 1861 but with no Edward or Elvin (or male fitting 1851 birth...) |

This is Elvin's family in 1861, but no sign of him! |

Hi Gerry, yes I was just getting to the fact that it did tie in to the 1861 family I found, he was probably off with friends or family. |

Possible, I know they messed with they estimated the ages a fair bit on the '41, four years isn't a huge difference but I'm not sure with the difference between a 15 yo and a 19yo. Only way to be sure is to go for the marriage cert and see if it all ties together. |

Um... there's a Thomas Parkin christening on IGI (with the right area of birth) which leads me to believe that the census one for 1841 that Gerry has given might not be the one. (Just a tip coz I don't want to take all the fun out of doing it for yourself ;-) ) |

Oh well done hadn't thought to look on there for James. So they should be on the '41 and '51. |

Doesn't appear to be any Clark's in Hayton in 1841 (musta been hiding LOL). |
