Is that surname correct? Should it be Hirst? What other info do you have on him? Did he marry?

Theres a lot of Thomas Hirst in Yorkshire - possibly this guy but without more definite info, its just a guess - why do you say Huddersfield and c1842 - you need to give every scrap of info you have. If you check freebmd, you will see the prob, there are lots of them born around that time.

i cant find 1881,

i have the floowing right from Inze hisrt and frank gibson, then ther children, and aslo inze's parent which are arthur and larriet, then ther children, hopefully in the right order, as back in them days three families were under one roof, so tryng to define which children were whoes, lol. im hoping i have it right. then Arthur Hisrt's father is thomas Hirst and i think he married Jane not too sure, this is were im needing a bit of help.

Most of my grandfathers family were all from huddersfiled and i know inze was definately, and also orphaned when she was one, as to why i dont know, cant find deaths on her parents

i thank you so much, no i have tried to work things out, and this is only info i have ever been stuck on, and no i havnt been given so much info on ths, i have had one small piece in the past, you guys have given me so much more, and more added to the families which i appreciate very much, which i never had.

Thanks reggie for the further info submitted on Alfred hist, it confuses me when surnames are spelt differently, due to the era. i take it thats from the info you submitted just above.

This will take some doing on my tree now,

the above is not making sence to me, as i now have inzes parents in cerificat form,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, not sure how all the other children fit in really, like a jigsaw.............i have put jane and ridgie and kate as her siblings???? dont know if it is right or not ..............

kate could be electors daughter or larriets, or Arthurs.....

so here i am again stumbled on this,

If you are not sure who are the parents you can apply for all the birth certificates??

Inze is in a workhouse in 1911, so hardly a naughty girl, unless you count poverty as a sin.

yes i have already got that information.................and even info to the workhouse she was in, very interesting.

inze was born in 5th may 1989.
i have her parents, and they are william Hirst and eliza hirst. ( no maiden name for her yet).

But someone keeps telling me her parents are thomas and jane, this is not so, io im trying to figure out all the children in the list one above, as to who is who.

Are you saying that on her birth certificate her Mother's name is Eliza Hirst.
If so, then Eliza's maiden name is Hirst?
Do you mean 1889 as you have put 1989?
Have you found her in censuses with parents William and Eliza?

Presumably, this thread is connected to your other one about the surname HIRST?

on your other thread you said you could not read Inze's mother's name. The interpretation you put on it could match with her mother being Electra/Elector Hirst (unmarried)

Are you sure Inze's marriage certificate said her father was William Hirst not William Parker? It is possible that the name was written incorrectly - it would not be the first time the registrar made assumptions if the question 'what is your father's name' was just answered with the word 'William'. Does the occupation stated match that of William Parker on his marriage certificate to Electra?

william Hirst is clear as anything on the marriage cert...................


still not 100% sure of eliza, but like finding inze was difficult at first, as some had her as emzie ect, so spelling variations again could make it possible .........

and again, i already have inze inmate info and everything about were she stayed in the workhouse ect, dont need all that ifo about her again..............

i shall double check the eliza issue..................
