I've checked the IGI batch numbers for Mossley and it only seems to cover births up to 1821 which would be too early for Elizabeth. Looks like a trip to the records office will be required. Where did you get the surname Hibbert from? Do you have the marriage cert for Samuel & Elizabeth? |

For reference, this is the family on the 1861 census. There is a big gap in age between Jane and the other two children which would suggest that Samuel was married before or that Elizabeth had a child when she was very young (she would have had to have married as a minor for it to be in wedlock) who then took the surname Bradbury when Elizabeth married Samuel. |
