no l have not wasted my time they have mis-spealt their names on both census but they are the same family.
if you noticed thomas comes up as john thomas in 1891 he his only thomas in 1881 there is no wonder these family trees are so complicated for people to track

Hi Sharon/Andrew,

We have a Joshua Moss in our family tree born c1751 East Markham. I think he married a Sarah, Probably in East Markham around 1878. Any help for confirmation of Sarah, a surname for her and date of marriage would be most helpful.

I also have the same problem with Joshua's father named John he was born around 1722 and married Isabelle (I think). Again I do not have a surname, but I think the marriage took place in East Markham around 1747.

Hi Sharon, I have just looked Clayworth up on the map - it is the other side of Retford to East Markham. However, if they are not the same people, it is one big coincidence. Could you give me the baptism dates which you found. This may further confirm the validity of the information.
