alfred ,alice, edith were all baptised on the same day 26 3 1876 at the parish of attenborough he was a chemist lived at chilwell have not found kate.

1. The parents of Mary North born c1782 in Kingston on Soar, married William Shardlow in 1795.
2. The parents of Mary Halts or Malts born c1806 married Edward Shardlow (son of the above) in 1834 in West Leake

I have Mary North born Kingston on Soar 1782, married William Shardlow 30/6/1795 in K on S. I also have a William North as a possible father but no other details on him.

I think your Mary Platts must be right as I have the same marriage date. The marriage took place in West Leake but that of course is not necessarily where she came from. Their children were born in West Bonnington but I'm afraid I don't know which county that is in - Google let me down on that one so I may have the wrong spelling.

IGI has 2 submitted marriages for Edward Shardlow, one to a Mary Halts and the other to a Mary Malts, both in West Leake. As they are both the same date as the one you found to a Mary Platt I think your name is probably the correct one.
Again on IGI there is submitted entry for a Mary Platts, birth 2.6.1806, baptism West Leake 12.4.1807, parents John and Jane - I wonder if she is the right one? Her possible birth year on the censuses varies between 1806 and 1811.
