Yes it was Sarah. She was born in Manchester and her maiden name was Calvert.

The one Vivienne has with Ella May on it is the right one. There was a Mary Emma who seems to have disappeared from the census. She was born in 1896?

After a search of trees this Albert Evans birth year matches up to one in a tree that has the name Pauline as owner.
But as you can see he was not born in Bargoed his father says on the 1911 census.
Or shouid Walter be William?

Although it is the same family as posted back in 2008 for the 1901.
No Walter in sight,but may have been born after 1911?

Edit..maybe why you cant find his birth in Glamorgan Bargoed Ann,I think it comes under Merthyr,but not certain.

And I also note that Robert and Sarah still have the same ages as in 1901,they havent aged a year!!

Maybe with the year and place of birth of at least Grandfather Albert they may be able to be found on 1911 census and then it can all be checked that info is correct?
Although some of Grandfathers siblings years of birth would be a big help?

You have said you think they were living in Bargoed at the time of your grandfather Albert Edwards birth. Do you have his birth certificate which would prove both his parents names.
You said at first you thought his parents married in Manchester but the certificate you bought was for a marriage in Glamorgan. Do you know his mother was definitely called Sarah?

also from you first post you seemed to think that the Robert Evans 1901 census posted was the right one but the children's names only match 2 of those you listed.
