I wonder if this is an error on the enumerator's part?
On image the relationship is son & the age is in the male column. Also it is very unusual to call a girl junior. The image IS Sarah Jr Hunt.

If Sarah Hunt is in Durham in 1851 and then as Sarah Pritchard in 1861 in Durham why did she travel to Newcastle to marry in 1857 ???

I agree, Glitter. I'm not sure that Sarah is his mother. Nowhere on any census is there a clue for that. Samuel is boarding with Sarah & David in 1881 but he could be any type of relative, or just a coincidence.

I cannot answer your question on Sarah marrying on both occasions in Newcastle..She must of liked the Church lol..
