Please could somebody kindly do me a 1851 census for a John French born 1845 Milcomb Oxford, he may have had a sister called Elizabeth born 1853 but i supose i will need to have that checked on the 1861 census as i have a Bertha French daughter of John above living with her Aunty and Uncle - Thomas and Elizabeth hall - on the 1891 and 1901 census and just trying to work out if Elizabeth is the Blood relative on the French side or Thomas is on Bertha's Mother Elizabeth judge's side as Judge could have been another married name as she had a son - Walter j Judge before she married John French....and wondered if she was called Hall as her maiden name, hope i'm not losing you on this!! |

Are you sure Ann was married? |

Maybe Thomas Hall is Elizabeth Judge's Brother?....perhaps there is a Judge marriage around 1873/4 of Elizabeth as originally i thought her son Walter James Judge 1874 was illigitemate |

Hi Nicki, thanks i think 1844 too, i was thinking John French could have had a sister called Elizabeth who married Thomas Hall and that's who Bertha went to live with but looks like not now....so wondering if Elizabeth Judge's maiden name was Hall and she had a brother called Thomas who Brought Bertha up |

You will need to try to get help to find the Judges on the census. |

Angela, I'm not sure Harriet & Elizabeth are sisters. I've just been away to have breakfast, but I'm on the case again for about half an hour. |
