I have the birth cert of Henry Oxley b1846 Cripplegate. Iam trying to trace his parents...On the certificate it has father as Henry Oxley (2) above name Occupation Painter . Mother Mary formerly Gray I have traced his mother its his father iam having trouble finding, him as I wish to get his marriage cert or berth cert. I have found on Ancestry 1841 Helen Oxley 28 Henry 27 son James 4.Fits tree then 1871 found Henrys mother, Older Henrys second wife Mary with James Henry Thomas Elizabeth.but no father so older Henry dead. If anyone can make sense of this help me... Henry Oxley b1814 cripplegate is the person iam trying to trace |

It cannot be him as on 1851 census he is with his wife Ellen at Vine court Cripplegate. Thats the addres on his sons birth cert |

This may Ellen Oxley's death record. Henry would have then remarried to Mary Gray after this date. |
