Possible 1841 for a family with Ann as the wife - no Sarah |

The 1834 marriage record MAY say what Ann's status was..........if she was a spinster, you would have assume (hope, even) that Sarah was her only child before she married, which would also mean that you wouldn't find out who Sarah's father was |

Or, is Sarah the child of Robert and Ann and possibly living with her Aunt Ann Sedgebeer/Bowden??? |

I know relationships aren't mentioned in 1841, but, with 3 children in the household whose births were after the 1834 marriage, one would have to make certain assumptions about the relationship between Richard and Ann. |

Thank you for having another look, I concluded that Sarah was illigitmate as she had her mothers name.I know you found Ann's parents but could we get any further back on the sedgebeer side? |
