OK - I'm looking for the date, place of death (and if possible) burial site of my grandfather Thomas Stuart Robinson who was born in Manchester in 1878 (he worked as a house painter and bottle dealer and possibly at some later stage as a newsagent.) His wife was Bridget McCaffrey they married in 1912 in Prestwich, Manchester and had 2 children Thomas Michael (1918) and Frances (1917). His parents were James (c.1848) and his wife Ellen Maud Peacock (b. 1853) |

Do you know Bridget's birth and/or death dates (so we can see if she moved from Manchester?) |

Thanks for the replies but I think it is unlikely that any of them are my grandfather unless you can give me a definitive reason why they might be! My understanding is that he died after April 1945. I really do need to know his date and location of death and if possible his burial location. |

Thanks. Yes, I'd seen this before and it opened up another load of questions that as yet I can't answer! |

As far as I know Bridget died in the mid to late 1960s and from memory (from what little I was told by my parents) Bridget and Thomas were not buried together. |

Not that it really helps, but it is quite possible for an RC to be buried in a C of E churchyard. Good luck with your search. Cx |

Thanks but Bridget (I believe) died in the mid to late 1960s. Again, nobody knows exactly when or where or where she is buried. This is the problem I think of having no living relatives that I can ask. |

Thomas definitely died in England as did Bridget. I'm pretty sure that they are both buried in the UK. |

Michael, you may think it is unlikely for the buriel to have taken place in an Anglican churchyard but it is very, very possible. |
