As mentioned freebmd is the easiest, but they only started putting mothers maiden name on late 1911 |

If you look on freebmd there are quite a few births in that area for those names as they are pretty common in Wales. |

the problem is it is starting to become a bit expensive and although I have paid for 6 months standard use on here and for 15 record views on ancestry, I am using the free records sites that have been mentioned on here which has opened up a few more areas to look at. As well as the software I've bought for the laptop! |

Its not a cheap hobby if you want to do it properly. I have just spent £72 for 6 months on FMP plus it was well over £100 on ancestry for a year. |
