Can anyone help me find Mary Morgan nee James? dob C1834. According to old family letters she married Edward Morgan & was living in 'Garndiffath' in 1871. Parents William James & Catherine Lewis.I cannot find her on any census after 1841 when she is with her parents in Crickhowell. Place of birth not given but presumably somewhere near there. She & Edward had a son Daniel, dau Elizabeth. (2 sons & 3 dau's surviving in 1871). also her sister Leah who married Anthony Lloyd about 1869 & had a dau Anne, dob ?15/8/1870. With many thanks.. |

Yes Fannybygaslight, I am pretty sure these are the right ones. The childrens names all add up as do the places of birth. The 1851 result from Ginny looks right. Beaufort is where the family came from. Thanks again to you both. |
