I am struggling to find, birth and death index for
elizabeth [lizzy] johnson who married staveley hill
in 1898 aged 18, 26 victoria st coventry farthers
name james johnson labourer,
i have found 1881 cencus name elizabeth johnson, age 1,
mothers name elizabeth, living at much park street.
AND THEN
1891 cencus name lizzy johnson, age 11
mothers name emma, living at st johns st,
its all getting very confusing for me, as i have not
been doing this for very long,
i would be very greatfull, for any help you can give.

Have looked for a death in name of Elizabeth Hill in Coventry 1935 - 1950
but unable to find one that fits the age.

Looks like Staveley died in 1926 so is it possible that Lizzie remarried?

I've seen you other thread about Staveley marrying Alice Orton in 1922

is this the same Staveley, if so then presumably looking for death of Lizzie prior to that.

OK so which Stavely died in 1926 ?

could lizzy / Elizabeth remarried

staveley born 1880 died 1926 marride to elizabeth johnson
yes it is possible she remarride.
and there son
staveley hill born 1900 died 1946 marride to alice may orton, alice was still alive in 1959 when i was born and she dident remarry.

no Lizzy and a few Elizabeth's in warwickshire

Coventry is my 'patch' so to speak... i'm heading to the records office on Friday i hope, want to to see what i can find in the local rag for the funeral? There may well be a mourners list etc?

he died on the 18 june 1926 at gulson road hospital, and it was registerd on the 21st.
