Im wondering if they were irish, the Geerings were originally, but berrisford doesnt sound very irish does it. |

Ha you have just read my mind, I think she was lying about her age, and I have just said exactly the same to my aunt. |
leesle | Report | 21 Aug 2008 15:12 |
oh no but the marriage cert I have is dated 1913 so she would have only be 13 years of age. |
WayneTracey | Report | 21 Aug 2008 15:12 |
They were either not here or mistranscribed... |
leesle | Report | 21 Aug 2008 15:14 |
so many ways to spell berrisford isnt there, maybe it was mistranscribed. thanks for giving it a go |

You might have a problem if this is her father... |
leesle | Report | 21 Aug 2008 15:35 |
that could be it, the only birth cert for me to order is the yorkshire one, and see if her father is John, there doesnt seem to be any others |
leesle | Report | 21 Aug 2008 15:38 |
maybe she was brought up in the workhouse in warrington |

WayneTracey | Report | 21 Aug 2008 15:43 |
.....or her mother remarried and she's listed under the new married name? |
