Keeping living relatives private

On other sites, living persons are automatically kept private unless I choose to share with an individual. Does this hold on GR as well?

No.

You have to privatise deliberately.

But note that it will hide everyone for whom you have not entered a date of death - no matter how long ago they were born.

And if you share your tree with someone else, these "living" people will still be hidden.

Researching:
Old genealogists never die.....they just lose their census.
