Hi,All

I have a copy of a marriage of my 2 time gr grandfather Ambury davies later it his name had a H added so it became Hambury Davies,he married a Jane but I cannot make out the surname, all I can see it start with a Ha the rest is obscure.
I know she was born in Pembroke and they were married on the 4 may 1835 at Chirstchurch Newport gwent.

Can anyone tell me where I can have Jane surname deciphered. :-S

Thank you Mary & Claire

Firstly you have posted this to the suggestions board, which is for suggestions to improve the site. So really this should be on the Genealogy Thread.

However, that aside, my recommendation would be to join ROOTSCHAT, its free to join and is a Genealogy Board rather like this site, but without the trees etc.

Then you can upload a picture of the part of the Certificate you need help with (for copyright reasons you are not allowed to post the whole certificate). There are lots of posts of a similar vein so you could add it to the Beginners Board.

Many of us on here are also members of Rootschat, it is very good and an excellent addition to any Family Historians collection of useful sites. The site is well worth a visit you will be pleasantly surprised at the vast amount of different . dedicated parts which are as varied an interesting as the subject can get.

Good luck :-D
