Death Dates not working

I have spent time over the weekend putting in birth and death dates in the format 02/10/1916 without a problem. That was to correct shortcomings in the Old tree where I had entered in the format 2 Oct. |

I hadn't realised it was still an problem. I have been adding them in the format 2 Oct 1916 instead of 02/10/1916 and so far they are still there :-D :-) |

On the subject of dates. I haven't had a partiuclar problem with adding birth or baptism dates. I can add a death year BUT if you want to add a year of death say in format of 01/03/1912 it will disappear after you save it. Reported to GR and they acknowledge there is a a problem with entering year of death but have no timescales for fixing it!! If other folks have had this trouble its probably best to report it to GR, then perhaps they will try get it sorted. |
