In 1908 not that many men would have appeared on an electoral register as not many were franchised to vote. Women of course did not have the vote at that time although there were exceptions if they owned property. |

The Childs Hill area is not covered by Hampstead in 1908 in the Ancestry data. It seems to be nearer Barnet or Finchley but I can't see records for those in 1908. |

Thankyou for the replies - i haven't been online as i've been in bed for 3 days ill - i'm ok now but my son has come down with it last night, so if not online again for a while you know why... When i'm back to normal i will pick up my threads and look into them soon |
