The new tree builder is a complete and utter shambles ! What I find hard to beleive, is that the staff at GenesR don`t realise the problem they are causing by not admitting nor understanding the fact. I for one, chose GenesR tree builder years ago because it was the best. By getting rid of the`old` tree, they now have nothing. |

Does anyone know how you can get into other members' trees that are open to you, when the member's name does not begin with A? |

I had exactly the same problem Maurice but yesterday I had to change to full screen to see something which is when I discovered the full 'Tree Dashboard' pop-up with the list of all 'accessible trees' and the number of pages of names there are. |

Folks say they don't read these threads. Maybe they read by "send us feedback" This issue has actually become a lot better today, there is now a "view other trees" link top centre of screen, and the dashboard that comes up has everything visible on screen. |

GR have re-invented the wheel and made it square so no surprise it doesnt work. It wasnt broken so why fix it. what we have now is a tree that doesnt work - everything you try to do is a lot more time consuming and protracted, names duplicate and indeed disappear. This is progress folks. When you contact support it is clear they do not read your complaint and you get a different person replying to you with no idea of what has preceeded your reply. If they dont start looking after members quickly they will find somebody else is looking after their members. They need to understand less is often more and we are not all computer nerds. Bill |

Why on earth did G.R. get rid of the 'old tree' set up?? The new one doesn't want to seem to load. It is much more difficult to use, is not very user friendly and it is not obvious how you find the list of trees you have access to. Please bring back the 'old' one. Until recently the 'old' one was also available. Now even that option has disappeared!!! |

I'm with everyone else - I am having real problems with the new tree. The main error is the duplications of new relatives. I am getting really fed up with having to go back & check how many copies have been made & then having to delete them. Also the whole thing is just so cumbersome to use - please bring back the old tree. |
