WHY CANT WE DO A SEARCH BY NAME OF THREAD POSTER
WITH OUT PUTTING WHAT THE TOPIC IS ABOUT.

Thats ok if the persons name is mentioned in the thread.

I just tried it on a person who had less than 50 posts and got 0 results

I often add my name at the bottom of a post so yes I would get a result from those

(name left off on purpose) :-D

The GR Community Board Search is cumbersome and does not work very well at all. The whole process needs a rethink and complete rebuild of the search index.

Unfortunately it isn't something that can be fixed overnight but can be done given the will and suitable analytical and development resources being allocated by GR.

If you put a name in you got every thread that person posted on, if there were more than one person with that name you just had to sort through them
