Copy and pasting comments and then repeating them to prove a point is just as bad. |

I guess the answer, so that threads continue to make sense, is to copy and paste Piglets Pals comments into any responses as a quote |

hi again, yes i do check my sent messages and most remain purple suggesting that people haven't updated their e-mail or just don't bother to log in when they recieve contact messages from genes. of the ones that have been read i'm assuming there is no match but the tree owners don't bother to send a quick message saying so. |

This is something that I have proposed on a number of occasions. I.e to show the last time that a member made some sort of update to the site. This could be a log-in, board posting, PM to another member or update to their tree, etc, etc. Anything that caused an action on the site. |

Don't worry Ambersmum I don't think that was a criticism from Rose, just pointing you to where you can read the opinions of others and see that you are not alone. |

would it be possible to put on peoples profiles how long it is since they last logged in? i send lots of messages and am lucky if i get 1 or 2 replies. it would save valuable research time if i knew someone hadn't logged in for so many months. |
