Stephen_SG : We realise that there are members who are not getting the hot matches expected and this is being looked in to. Hopefully have better news for you soon.

Everyone : I have just found and fixed another error that was causing the Hot Matches link not to appear on the tree page.

Will keep looking for those nasty little bugs (after a weekend break though!)

Hello Phil, Iam sorry to say that although your well meant statement on Hot Matches is a comfort to some.
I am still waiting for my hot matches. How long 4 mouths since I uploaded my new tree, the only matches seems to be for surnames starting with up to Ad with over 5900+ surnames within my tree this best effort appears to be a waste of time.
So I trust that your team of well placed and well meaning persons can get your heads together to improve your performance.

I have now got my HOT MATCHES back :-D

Now I can sort out many matches......

We identified another error in the hot matches displayed on the website, relating to the performance enhancements we did two weeks ago. It was still showing details of old hot matches where one or both of the two linked relations were now deleted. This should trim the summary for some people, and should leave only those that you can still see details for.

I am locking this thread as it has been resolved.

Thank you Phil - I have now been able to view the (new) hotmatches...with at least one good lead. :-)

Ah. I need to look at the discarded ones, and there they are from yesterday: old and new. I shall look again later; maybe my profile picture might work later, too ;-)

Phil, yesterday there were many hot matches, new and old, that I could not view nor discard. Today, having just seen your post this morning, I looked at them - and there are none.

GinaS and everyone else with hotmatches problems.

Whilst performance tuning the hotmatches section, by accident we lost the check on discarded hotmatches so the list you would have been seeing showed all old and new ones. This has now been corrected and you should see the correct list and links to the details should work for both active and disgarded hotmatches.

Please recheck your links. They should be working now.

I cannot open - same problem as before

We have a few key problems with hot matches at the moment. We are working on these. One of the issues is with the link in the email points to an old page. We have just implemented automatic redirecting to take you to the right page now. - Phil
