	What ever happened to searches re specific names? Rather than having to plough through so much meaningless info and enquiries

	Why not use the search trees instead Most of the posts on the surnames board were old anyway and they were more than likely no longer members jax

	I think most of the trees are as old as the surname posts. You used to get an indication of how many posts there were for surnames in your tree in the last N days, which I found very useful. There are too many surnames for me to check individually so I tend not to use the Find Ancestors board very much.
