I think it would be a very good idea to have a maiden name field to help trace family lines.Yes the official records from 1911 includes mother names but many of the local BMD's and parish records are now including mothers maiden names for that very reason. |

but that would only work for births registered after 1911 because this was when that information was recorded in the indexes |

It would be great if you could add the field to enter the mother's maiden name in births, which would greatly reduce time and be specific. |
