Feel a bit stupid now

Turns out I had some old unopened messages so of course the envelope symbol was permanently showing

Is anyone NOT seeing a little white envelope beside the Messages menu item when they have new messages? [This should not be happening]

Is anyone seeing the little white envelope but they can't seem to find any new messages? [This occurs when someone creates a draft message, and sends it several days/weeks later and it retains the date drafted as the sent date, which mean it gets buried back in your inbox - This is a known bug and being worked on - but would like to know if it is affecting anyone]

I get the white envelope and the email (had them today). I dont usually bother to look at the first page.

Both the white envelope and the comment about new messages (and the email in fact) seem to be still working for me. Do you think it may be the browsers people are using?

Last week when I received a message a white box was showing near "Messages".I have not had one since the alterations but I always receive an Email as well.

Some time back when you logged into GR there was something that said you had messages. Can't remember exactly how it was shown but could we have something similar back
