With only a grandfathers name and two of his brothers to start with, I now have ten generations and over 50 names on my tree. To find that at least six generations had lived in the one village of Baslow, Derbyshire, has been a revelation. A subsequent visit to the church cemetry to find 27 Brightmores there has moved me on to all their households through the various Census data.
This is a big thankyou to the site and the various members who continue to help - it has only just begun - but my 'book' is well and truly started.
