A bit of a shaggy dog story.
1.A long lost cousin, found my sister through Friends Reunited.
2. I got in touch with her too and discovered that she was building the family tree, and that another lost cousin was doing the same.
3. They inspired me to have a go and I registered with Genes reunited.
4. I put on my tree the name of my brother-in-law from whom I had not heard since the death of my husband.
5. Tree matches showed his very unusual first name name on two other trees
6. Intrigued I looked and found- two lost nieces.
7. Just before Christmas I had a message to say that their father was very ill in hospital in Spain where my son lives.
8 A couple more messages and my son will be going to see his uncle who is only an hour away from him.
Not just ancestors who are reunited
