Keep meaning to do this and sorry for delay, but just want to say a big thank you to this site and it's founders and it's running team..2 years ago I logged onto this site out of curiosity after being on FR through boredom..I had been looking for my half brother for 4 years who was adopted at birth in 1969 without much success due to red tape and bureaucracy ...I first read the testimonials of people more interested in the geneology but when I read further on and how adoptees and their families had been put in touch, I was hooked and had to keep searching , then when I saw my brother's details posted and a search note from him, I HAD to pay the joining fee to send him that initial emotional e-mail....We first met in August 2005 and mum, whom had not seen her son in 36 years shortly after..We have all been together now as a family for 2 years, and were able to see my brother married and shortly become a father..So thank you, thank you Genes Re-united, and for all those out there searching , especially in similar circumstances, DO NOT give up hope..XXXX
