Thank you to everyone that's helped me trace my Dad's tree....as they say 'every little helps' and it most certainly has!

After hitting a brick wall and more or less giving up, i thought i'd have one more go and posted so much on the surname boards and emailed everyone with tree matches.

Thanks to the person who told me about the military record for my G Grandad. It turned out it was him and i have now traced his parents. I didn't know they all came from Ireland! And there's me thinking i was an Essex girl through and through!

So anyway, i just like to say thank you so much to all the helpers on GR. You do an amazing job.
