About 2 years ago my dad was taken ill and had to spend time in hospital and i was pregnant so while he was recovering we decided to start tracing the family tree. Thanks to the help of genes members we have traced the tree back to the 1700's, although there are still bits of information missing we have a solid start. The biggest success from this is that we dicovered that my dad has a sister, and after only a few weeks of searching the records we managed to trace her and they have been in constant contact since. Although I did not find her through genes directly i feel that i should thank its members as without there support I would probably have given up on the tree long before we found her. |
