I became a member of Genes Reunited in August 2004 & in November 2004 found a cousin who had been lost to the family for approx 60yrs although i had looked through other avenues for a long long time i had been unable to trace him since then i have found relatives i didn't even know about my cousin who now lives in Australia has been to England to visit me & i have been to Australia to visit him & his family + the cousins there i didn't know existed . I have also found cousins in the Southampton area who i knew of but didn't know there exact whereabouts my family tree has grown & grown out of all recognition thanks to genes & its other members this really is an amazing site i am in constant contact with my Australian family but unfortunately have lost contact with the ones in the Southampton area which is really unfortunate . I also have second cousins added through contact on Genes . To anyone who has joined Genes recently or has had very little success i would like to say keep trying success will come perhaps sooner than you think it Certainly did for me . Garry Bulmer . |
