thanks to joan who i made contact withon genes ive made contact with my mothers birth family and her adoptive family.a neice who she hasnt heard from for 40 years is now in contact with her,and on saturday i received a parcel which mums neice sent to me containing lots of old family photos and my uncles service history and work records from his time in the navy its amazing listing all the ships he was on and even the exams he passed,he was a cook,how lucky im i to receive all this from a lady ive never met she has even sent an old painting of mums brother on his wedding day.all this has happened because of the help joan has given us,and now we are making arrangements to meet mums birth sisters who shes never met.joan you are a true life angel sent to reunite familys.love and best wishes jane. |
