Teresa With Irish Blood in Me Veins

Teresa With Irish Blood in Me Veins Report 20 Sep 2007 19:02

Back in March & April of this year, 2 GenesReunited member's help me to locate:

a) My husband's grandmother's death record, which I promptly ordered.......... received the Death Certificate to discover that my Father-in-Law had a sister, Kathleen, who was the informant of the death!

I did a bit more researching and discovered who Kathleen married and that she had 3 boys...all of this was unknow to my husband.

b) Shirley Ann, who located an address on the Electoral Role who looked like he could me my husband's lost cousin, Dennis. So I wrote to Dennis.

What a wonderful result! I had written to the right Dennis and he phoned my husband and we have been in contact with him and his surviving brother Brian ever since.

Dennis & Brian were both thrilled to find out what had happened to their Uncle Jack and that they had relatives that they never knew about either!

So follow up every lead that you are given...you never know what you might find.

Dennis only lives about one and half hours drive from us and we met up with him, his wife Ruth and his surviving brother Brian and his wife Pat to-day.

We exchanged loads of family photo's and had a lovely reunion.

We are all so overjoyed to have found one another at last!

So much happiness from 2 kind members..Bless you.
