I cannot thank GR enough for the help I've received in tracking members of my family. When I started I knew my Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and first cousins and that my Dad had 1 uncle, and that was it. I now know Dad had 2 Uncles and four Aunts and can trace family on his side back to 'Edward' in the early 1700's, all in Yorkshire! Apart from the information I am now in contact with many other descendants of 'Edward' and other forbears. Mum's family line goes back to the 1500's on one side and I haven't even got started on the others!! Most of this success has been through contacts on GR and I thank you all very, very much. |
