Finding families in Scotland

I have had great success finding both my own and my husband's families using the official websites and using ( a lot more) Genes Reunited sites. My husband's side is a lot easier to trace as they are mainly Scottish with a hint of Irish, my side is mostly Irish.

My husband's side I have managed to go as far back as the 1700, thanks mainly to the relatives that I have found on Genes Reunited.
