Hi all you GU user's, I would like to thank you all. I started GU 2006 and on the very first week I found a two cousin's that I did not know existed, one of which does not live far from me and we arranged to meet up and have been in touch ever since. Also I found the son of my Mother's best friend during the war years (this was only by chance) and he lives only 4 miles from where my Mother lives. He now visit's her regularly and listens to her stories about his Mother, all the things that he did not know. I have also found relatives in the states and Australia. The internet is a wonderful thing, but Genes Reunited is even better, thank you GU for bringing people together. |
